Morecombe
is a working farm, the main livestock being cattle
and sheep. Lambing takes place in February through
March and calving in March and April. There are also
ponies, geese, ducks and chickens, to say nothing
of dogs and cats.

The
farm consists mainly of pasture fields, situated on
one side of an attractive valley. A large, ancient
wood and a smaller oak wood mellow the views, with
a brook meandering down the bottom of the valley. |

The
area where the caravans are positioned is adjacent
to the farmyard, within mature, landscaped gardens,
with dividing hedgerows, pathways and external night-lighting
to a special visitor car park. This area also includes
duck and fish ponds. |
